Welcome to Hills of Westlake Chapter!

The Hills of Westlake chapter was founded in 2017. Our chapter draws its members from the Westlake area. Our young men attend a variety of high schools including Westlake High, Austin High, St. Stephen's, St. Andrew's, St. Michael's and Hyde Park. The Hills of Westlake Chapter currently has 83 mothers and 95 sons serving 30 different philanthropies.

Instilling a Heart of Service in Our Sons

Members of the Hills of Westlake of the Young Men's Service League are mothers and their high school sons who participate in a comprehensive four-year program dedicated to service, learning, and leadership.

Time passes quickly during the four important transitional years of high school. Our sons go from being boys to men right before our eyes. During this time, YMSL provides opportunities to spend quality time together serving side by side. Our sons will not only learn about other's needs, but they will also learn about their own character and gain a new respect for the mother/son relationship.

Young Men's Service League (YMSL) is a non-profit national organization that initiates and encourages young men and their mothers to pursue philanthropic involvement in their communities and provides an opportunity to enhance mother/son relationships. There are currently over 90 chapters across 15 states. Learn more at: YMSL.org

Join Us!

YMSL is a sponsorship organization, which means a prospective member needs to be sponsored by a current member of the chapter she wishes to join. Enrollment for new members takes place during the winter of the son’s 8th-grade year. Contact us to get more information for deadlines & dates. Reach out to current members for sponsorship!
